Thus S&L became a subsidiary of TATA STEEL 2004 IOT Infrastructure & Energy Services Limited (Formerly Indian Oil Tanking Limited) aquired by the company from TATA STEEL. S&L is now a subsidiary of IOT. IOT Infrastructure and Energy Services Limited is a joint venture of Government  owned Indian Oil Corporation, a Fortune Global 500 company and Oiltanking GmbH, the world's largest independent storage and oil terminalling service provider. IOT Infrastructure and Energy Services Limited's primary business is building infrastructure, operating it or coordinating complex logistics solutions for the petroleum and related industries with core competence in bulk liquids terminalling services and cross country piping. The company also provides Design, Engineering, Procurement and Construction services to core sectors like Oil & Refinery, Petrochemicals, Power and other infrastructure Industries in India and abroad.
